My Intentions for my Short Story

My intentions for Aden were simple.  He was what seemed to be a nice man that ended up being just sick.  And Eva was just a stupid girl who really didn’t want or deserve any trouble.  The plot was supposed to make you think everything was going to be fine until the end where most of the intensity of the story takes place.  The setting is typical.  There is an awful storm, so bad that the clouds are almost green.  I tried to keep the dialogue to a minimum because it was more important to me to make sure people knew what happened, not who said what.  The dialect is similar to something Edgar Allan Poe would write.
